April 28-30 UM Army weekend.
As part of a UM Army "pop-up", we'll be doing yardwork, painting and more at the homes of people screened by UM Army, in consultation with the local senior centers.
At night, we'll gather at St. Paul's UMC (Northport) for worship, games and dinner. Folks will go home each night and in the mornings, we'll meet at the church for breakfast and a short devotion before heading to our work sites.
For those who would like to participate, be sure that your church registers at ne.umarmy.org by February 15th. Individuals will then be able to register between then and April 2nd.
Youth in grades 6-12 are welcome to participate, so invite your friends, too!
We ALSO need adult volunteers to help out with work sites, serving in the kitchen, etc. Please contact Pastor David Czeisel if you'd like to help out for the weekend.
